The class itself begins with a pool session for some of the more intricate skills that are easier to grasp in the pool than a rockin rollin ocean.

We follow the pool day with two boat days (4 ocean dives): The first day is skills and the second day is scenarios. We can log the dives as 4 dives in the class, but they are not as leisurely as our usual boat dives, as there are quite a few skills that need to happen in open water.

It is an amazing class, that teaches you awareness and confidence. Most students say that it’s physically hard, but oh so satisfying and confidence building!
