Course prerequisites:
- Students must be at least 15 years of age: or 10 years of age for Junior certification.
- Students under the age of 18 must be accompanied by and have the signature of a parent or guardian

- If there are any questions to which you have answered “yes” on the medical form, you must get a medical release from us for your doctor to sign before starting the class.
Course Pricing
- E-learning paid to PADI linked to Kohala Divers $230
- PADI instruction paid to KDL, materials, equipment 2 pool sessions & 4 boat dives: $775
All Inclusive Price Total $1005
Student to provide:
- PADI E-learning, linked to Kohala Divers
- Completed and signed medical forms and liability release
(please note: Depending on answers on medical form you may need to get a medical release from us for your doctor to sign before starting class.* No exceptions!)
- Towel, Water bottle and sunscreen for each session

- E-learn course packet- Student record folder. PADI logbook
- 1-2 Confined water pool sessions
- 4 ocean boat dives
- All needed rental dive equipment
- Certification processing.
- Extra pool and ocean days may be purchased if needed by student
STUDY TIME REQUIRED:
E-learning is self-paced and you can do it at your own speed on your schedule. Most students put in 8-10 hours of study to complete.

Complete all segments before you meet your instructor for your first pool session.
2. Call to book your course schedule
COURSE ITINERARY
The course can be done as quickly as three consecutive days or spread out over time. Call our helpful staff to get the best schedule for you! Extra sessions can be purchased if needed.
Before day 1: Segments 1-5 of e-learning must be completed with exams submitted online.
DAY ONE
- Welcome to Kohala Divers,
- Meet your instructor.
- Complete all needed paperwork. Present medical clearance if required.
- Do a quick review of your online learning.
- You may want to choose mask, snorkel, fin to purchase (enjoy a 10% discount while enrolled as a student with KDL)
- First pool session (confined water portion of the course)
- Complete swim assessment
Option 1 First pool session confined 1-3 2 PM-approx. 6 PM
Option 2 All day pool confined 1-5 9:30-approx 3:30

DAY TWO
Two Boat Dives : 7:30 AM- aprox. 1:30 PM at Kohala Divers
- Check in for boat (friends/family are welcome to join you aboard to snorkel or dive with prior reservations)
- Set up equipment with instructors coaching
- Do two fun filled educational ocean dives to 40’ max with an hour in between.
- Return to dock, fill in log books
Option 1 only
DAY TWO OR THREE
Second pool session (if needed): 1:30PM- Approximately 5PM at Kohala Divers
Please have transportation to follow instructor to our pool 5 minutes away or let us know you will need a ride:
Complete elearning quick review
Second pool session (confined water portion of the course)
DAY THREE OR FOUR
Two Boat Dives : 7:30 AM- aprox. 1:30 PM at Kohala Divers
- Check in for boat (perhaps bring a friend to snorkel or dive with prior reservations)
- Set up equipment with instructors' coaching
- Review compass skills on land then in water
- Do two fun filled educational ocean dives to 60’ max with an hour in between.
- Return to dock, fill in log books and pose for your picture as a certified diver!
